About sports

Luxembourg is by far one of the best places to be if you love sports.

I have tried multiple times the swimming pools at AquaSud in Differdange and I will continue to do so. The place is big, quite clean and very affordable. Time to time there are many people, especially families with kids, but it is never too crowded so far. One of the coolest things is that there is a multilevel pool with warm water that has a direct connection to the outside. Definitely a must-try during winter (but also the rest of the year).

I have also tried the sauna in AquaSud. However, I prefer the atmosphere of the Pool Escher Schwemm in Esch-sur-Alzette. Again, the price is affordable and the service is superb! There is a guy that at fixed times during the day performs a sort of ritual with hot stones, essential oils, and he serves cold tea.

Another interesting place is the RedRock Climbing Center in Soleuvre. It is a modern climbing facility with many walls of different difficulty levels, both for boulder and rope climbing. There is also a café/bar. I have been there only once, but it is worth to return.

Close to RedRock there is the Artikus, a concert and spectacle hall. Not a sport facility, but nonetheless very interesting. Time to time there are free events.
